Cell phones and communication throughout the year is of utmost importance to the Midreshet, the students and parents. Therefore, it is crucial that all students are on the same cell plan. This allows the Midreshet to function smoothly on a daily basis while providing the ability to reach the students instantaneously in the event of a security situation.
Talk-n-Save is the midreshet choice to provide cell phone service for our talmidot. They have a decades-long track record and serve as the provider of many
Yeshivot and Midrasha gap-year programs. Their plan is nominally more expensive per month, but they have done infrastructure work in the midreshet
building to ensure excellent reception; and their customer service is staffed with knowledgeable English speakers to help you and your daughter navigate any
potential issues (unlike the cheaper Israeli cell phone plans, which do not have nearly the same customer service standards.)
If you were at Midreshet Lev for Shana Aleph
and froze your telephone number, please note that in the comments section when signing up for Talk-n-Save.
If you were NOT at Midreshet Lev last year
you can choose to bring your line with you that you used last year (if you choose this option, please install the free carrier-supplied anti-porn filter on your phone); or you can choose to sign up with the midreshet’s Talk-n-Save plan. This is the recommended course of action, as explained above.
*All new students are required to sign up for the Talk-n-Save group plan without exception.
